So, let’s go directly to the point. What is your definition of the life? Everyone has their own definition of the life that they hold consciously or subconsciously. But do you know that your definition of your life actually molds into the reality in your life? So, how you define your life? What do you think ‘what life is’? Take a time to think.

Does it truly affect our life?

If clearly says your definition about your life is your core belief about your life. Your definition of your life is what you believe about life to be true. You clearly declare in your mind that this is what life is. These are mere assumptions that you have impressed on your subconscious mind and believe it to be true.

But this belief is single factor that influence most of our life in great manner! What you think about your life is your fixed way of looking toward life, your perception about life. If you adopt any believe about life to be true, you ultimately reject the other possibilities to be explored. Whenever you accept a specific belief or concept about your life to be true, you literally start to feel, think and act according to your belief. And your actions, feelings and thoughts give corresponding results in your life.

For example, if I believe that ‘I can do only limited things in my life’, how is it possible to me to achieve something unbelievable? I even don’t try to achieve it, I do not permit myself to think in advancement of that aim, I can’t permit my mind to be open to new opportunities and possibilities that leads to accomplishment of unbelievable thing. This is how it works!

 Let’s find out our definition about the life. Remember, when you having a discussion with your friends , family or with closed ones, don’t you represent your concept about your life in front of them? Have you ever told to them that ‘life is too hard’ or ‘life is race’? We think and speak it in most casual way but don’t know the consequences it has on our life. And trust me the effects are too significant. To find your definition of the life you need to do nothing but to pay attention to your daily language, words that are you consistently using and what do you think about your life. Just by being aware of this you will easily find your definition or perspective of the life. So, when you explore your own definition of the life, come to next point…

Is it constructive or destructive?

Now you know your definition about the life. But, how to know that your definition about your life is constructive or destructive? is it going to lead you a happy and prosperous life or the life with too much sorrow and misery. To explore that follow the framework given below.

1.     Pronounce your definition of life in your mind.it may be ‘life is too hard’ , ‘life is too short , hence enjoy it’ or ‘life is a war’. What do you think about your life repeat it in your mind?

2.     Now after repeating your definition of the life in your mind, how do you actually feel? Observe your emotional state at that time.

3.     Immediately after that think about your dreams and goals. What do want to achieve in your life? What is your dream life? Now how do you feel? Observe your emotions.

Now let’s check either it constructive or destructive one!

Destructive – Now it is really easy to recognize a destructive definition about your life. Repeat that your definition about life in your mind. How it feels to you? What emotions do you have while doing so? Observe your emotions! Are you feeling discouragement, discomfort, nervousness, shame, demotivated, fear or any negative emotion? Then be alert. Your emotion is signal to you that you are on wrong path! Any negative emotion is obviously a big threat for your dream life.

Here are some destructive definitions of the life –

·       Life is a mess.

·       Life very hard.

·       Life is race.

·       Life never gives you what you love. (Biggest lie ever!)

·       Life is full of hurdles and complications.

Constructive – After repeating your definition about the life do you feel the positive emotions like encouragement, happiness, peace, love, joy, excitement then, yes your definition about the life is optimistic one. But is it really helps you to achieve your goals? Take a look at the third action point. Immediately after repeating the concept about the life and observing the corresponding emotions we have thought about our goals and dreams. How do you feel when you visualize about your goals and dreams? While doing so, if you get a new hope, inspiration , encouragement about your goal, if you find some new ideas, thoughts, new ways and opportunities pop up inside your mind about your goal then yes your definition of your life is constructive.

For example, if your dream is to become an international level athlete and in addition you have belief about your life that ‘Everything is possible in life for those who do’, then who has the power to stop you from achieving your goal? You will find yourself irresistible to take an action!

·       Life is movie. Let’s make every moment a best take of your life.

Life is most valuable gift of god. Don’t miss any moment to celebrate it.
